Tips For Keeping Track

If you want to keep track of how many calories you've eaten and burned:

Visit MyFitnessPal.com 

It's really effective! You can put in your own weight goals, and your own daily calorie goals, how many you'd like to burn a week etc.

It will often tell you you aren't eating enough calories at the bottom of the page, but ignore that, it's not really that important!

It also tells you how much you'd weigh in 5 weeks if every day was like that day!

Weighed in!

I weighed in again today, back up to 136... thats 3lb gained in less than 2 days... Oh well, gym tomorrow! I'll start a 2 day fast and work off 1500 kcals in the gym tomorrow and saturday - that is my goal!

 If anyone fancies having a go at a 2 day fast with me, just comment and i'll arrange away for us to communicate!! :)

Weighed in!!

Ok, so because of my binges I was scared to go on the scales, almost certain they'd tell me I'd gained weight. But today I decided, right. It's been 2 weeks since I weighed myself, I NEED to know.
140 lb! I dropped 12 lb in 2 weeks!!! with 4 days of fasting and the 2468 diet I've shed 12 lb and I'm well pleased :)

2468 Diet and Starvation Mode

Hello bloggers! Before I bombard you with information again, I'm going to explain one term to you that I'm probably going to mention frequently... I don't know. But you need to know it anyway!

Starvation Mode.
This is when the body realises it isn't getting enough energy to survive. It then stops burning calories in an attempt to save them for later use. To avoid this, you need to not give your body time to go into starvation mode. This is where the 2468 diet comes in.

The way I do it is 02468, but you don't have to. I just enjoy fasting!

Basically, you change your calorie intake each day: 200, 400, 600, 800. 

Remember it's just a guide, if you don't feel comfortable going down to 200, how about a 400, 500,600,800?

Just mix it up daily to avoid reaching a plateau.

Fasting!

Ok, yesterday I messed up. I binged like hell. I ate a fruit salad, 3 bags of crisps, and 2 chocolate biscuits. that added up to about 800 kcals, so not TOO bad, its not a disaster. I went for a long run and had my boyfriend come over for some.. fun. You'd never believe how many calories that burns! Thank god he's supportive of my lifestyle :)

There's something I've never mentioned!!!

My boyfriend (well, fiancĂ©, but since I'm only young, you don't know that.) Dan knows I'm ProAna, and instead of nagging me, or telling me i should eat like a normal person, he supports me. He buys me low calorie food when I spend a few days at his house, if i go to eat something when I've told him i'm fasting, he reminds me and asks me if i really want to eat it. Usually I say no and shove it in his mouth. He is my walking talking thinspiration: He's 9 stone at 17, 6'1". He's beautiful. And he eats like a fat man.

JEALOUS!!!

But I'll make it.

Calorie Burning Tips

1. Fidget!!! People who fidget a lot burn upto 800 calories more per day on average, so don't stay still for too long!!

2. Sit up straight. This will also make your stomach muscles leaner.

3. Celery. Your body burns more calories digesting this than it contains!

4. Drink ice cold water when water fasting, your body will try and warm itself up, burning calories.

5. Take a cold shower or turn the thermostat down. Your body will burn calories trying to warm back up. Also, being too cold (and too warm) has been shown to boost metabolism.

Tips for Avoiding Eating

1. Keep yourself as busy as you can - do something time consuming at you enjoy, and try and add a little movement if its a lazy activity. For Example, go on the computer, but swing your legs, tap your fingers, sit up straight etc. This will burn more calories.

2. Put a couple of thinspo pictures in your kitchen, or if you live with family keep a picture on your phone or in your pocket. look at it every time you're tempted.

3. Reverse thinspo! Do you really need that cookie? Look what it will do to you! The cookie is evil.

4. Drink a glass of water every hour or so. It will make you feel full.

5. Electrolytes! SmartWater contains these and has 0 calories. By avoiding eating and drinking lots of water you will lose a lot of electrolytes, which will make you feel faint and hungry. Drinking SmartWater will prevent this.

6. Caffeine pills! Coffee has a boatload of calories in it, not to mention not many people can't drink it without sugar and milk/cream! Pro-Plus is cheap and available from almost every supermarket, without giving you nasty hidden calories.

7. Don't like the thought of taking pills? Monster energy - Absolute Zero, and Diet Coke have between 0 and 1 calories per can! And it still gives you the caffeine boost you need!

8. Smoke a cigarette to curb your appetite. (ONLY IF YOU ARE ALREADY A SMOKER. If you do not already smoke, don't start. The downfalls widely outweigh the benefits)

9. If you feel tempted to binge, stand in front of a full length mirror in your underwear. Poke your stomach and thighs. Still feel hungry?

10. Brush your teeth with a strong minty toothpaste. The after taste will make you want to avoid eating anything.

11. Do something disgusting. If you have a small pet, clean its cage/hutch. Watch a disgusting film like Saw.

12. Put on a sticky lipgloss. You will be more aware of things going near your mouth as you wont want to ruin it.

13. Put on a t-shirt that is too small. It will motivate you to keep going.

14. Drink ice cold water constantly. your body burns calories as you drink it to retain homeostasis (regular body temp.)

15. Sleep at least 7 hours a night. Any less than six hours will stimulate your appetite and make you feel more hungry.

16. If you find yourself about to dive into eating something, take a deep breath and count to 100. by the time you're done, you probably will have convinced yourself you don't need it.

17. Only take as much money as you need when you go out, so when you go past bakeries and fast food places you can't afford anything.

18. If you feel like you're going to binge, go to a friend's house where you can't just raid the fridge.

19. If you love a certain food, keep the wrappers after you've finished it, then smell them when you get cravings. The smell will calm you down.

20. Don't swallow! Take a bite, chew it, enjoy the taste, then spit it out and rinse your mouth out at least three times to avoid ingesting any.

21. Get a tongue/lip/cheek piercing - you won't be able to eat until it's healed.

22. Curl up in a ball when you get hunger pangs.

23. Persuade yourself you hate your favourite foods.

24. Wear a rubber band on your wrist and snap it when you feel tempted. You will soon associate food with pain.

25. Remember your goal at all times. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

Tips For Refusing/Avoiding Food

Breakfast

1. "I'm in a rush, sorry!"
2. "I feel sick after I eat in the mornings"
3. "I'm gonna set of early, is there something i can eat on the way?" (then throw it away when out of sight)
4. "I don't feel like [insert food here] to be honest... I'll just grab something while i'm out"
5. "I'm still full from last night!"

Lunch
1. "I had a huge breakfast"
2. "I'm not really hungry yet.. I'll just get a soda." (Make sure its a diet one!!!)
3. "I made plans to go out with [Insert friend's name here] for lunch in about an hour"
4. "I have a load of homework/coursework to finish, I'll get something when I'm done, shouldn't take long."
5. "I already had something about 10 minutes ago" (make sure you mention what you "ate")
6. "I'm not feeling too great, I'm gonna let my stomach settle before i try eating anything."

Supper
1. "I'm swamped with homework, can I eat it upstairs while i work?" Gradually scoop it into your bin in your room in case someone comes upstairs within a few minutes. Be a bit strange if you haven't touched it, or already scoffed it down hmm?
2. "[Friend's name] invited me over for dinner." Go to said friend's house, be sure to tell them you had dinner at home and are stuffed, in case they try to offer you anything.
3. "I'm still not feeling that great. I should be alright later, can you put mine in the microwave? I'm going to go have a lie down."
4. "I had a big lunch." Go on to describe it.

These usually work for me. Obviously don't use them too often, try and get out of the habit of being home at meal times if you live with family.

My Ultimate Goal Weight is 98 lb
My Current Target Weight is 128 lb.
I've been struggling with my body, size and weight for the past 3 years, and suffered a 9 month period of depression during which I binged like hell. I have been trying to shed this weight for the past 4 months, using Thinspo and Ana tips that I'll be more than happy to share with you all.
In the morning. Its 3am my time and I should really get some sleep...
